Description
A delicious and hearty casserole made with ground beef, green beans, and Tater Tots, topped with melted cheddar cheese.

- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 can green beans 15 oz, drained
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup 10.5 oz
- ½ cup milk
- 1 cup cheddar cheese shredded, divided
- 1 bag frozen Tater Tots 32 oz
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- salt to taste
- black pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until fully browned, breaking it up as it cooks. Drain off any excess grease.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the browned beef, drained green beans, cream of mushroom soup, milk, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Stir until evenly mixed.
- Lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish. Arrange a single layer of frozen Tater Tots on the bottom. Spread half of the beef mixture over the Tater Tots and sprinkle with half of the cheddar cheese.
- Add a second layer of Tater Tots, then top with the remaining beef mixture and the remaining cheddar cheese.
- Bake uncovered for 40 to 45 minutes, or until the Tater Tots are crisp and the casserole is hot and bubbly.
- Let the casserole rest for a few minutes before scooping and serving.
Notes
- Make sure to drain the green beans well before adding them to the mixture.
- This recipe can be customized by adding your favorite vegetables.
