Description

A delicious and festive dessert lasagna inspired by the classic Shamrock Shake, perfect for any celebration.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 package (9 oz) chocolate sandwich cookies, crushed
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 container (8 oz) cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 container (8 oz) frozen whipped topping, thawed
  • 1 package (3.4 oz) instant vanilla pudding mix
  • 2 cups cold milk
  • 1 teaspoon peppermint extract
  • 4 drops green food coloring
  • 1 cup mini chocolate chips
  • Whipped cream and chocolate syrup for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, combine crushed chocolate sandwich cookies and melted butter. Press the mixture evenly into the bottom of a 9×13-inch dish to form the crust.
  2. In a large bowl, beat cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth.
  3. Fold half of the whipped topping into the cream cheese mixture until well combined.
  4. Spread the cream cheese mixture over the cookie crust evenly.
  5. In another bowl, whisk together pudding mix, cold milk, peppermint extract, and green food coloring until thickened.
  6. Gently fold the remaining whipped topping and mini chocolate chips into the pudding mixture.
  7. Spread the pudding layer over the cream cheese layer in the dish.
  8. Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or until set.
  9. Before serving, garnish with whipped cream and drizzle with chocolate syrup if desired.

Notes

  • For a stronger mint flavor, increase the peppermint extract slightly.
  • Ensure the crust is tightly packed for better structure.
  • This dessert can be made a day ahead for convenience.
