- 1 Pound Ground Beef Chuck
- 1/2 Pound Ground Sirloin
- 1/4 Cup Pesto
- Salt and Pepper
- Olive Oil
- 4 Brioche Hamburger Buns
- 4 Leaves Green Lettuce
- 2 Campari Tomatoes (sliced)
- 4 Slices Havarti Cheese (sliced)
- 4 Tablespoons Balsamic Glaze
- 1/2 Cup Light Mayo
- 1 1/2 teaspoons Dijon Mustard
- 2 Cloves Garlic (small, minced)
Instructions
- In a large mixing bowl, combine ground beef chuck, ground sirloin, pesto, salt, and pepper. Mix gently until just combined.
- Shape the mixture into four patties about 3/4-inch thick and create an indentation in the center of each patty.
- Preheat your grill or stovetop skillet over medium-high heat with a drizzle of olive oil.
- Cook the patties for about 5 minutes on one side; flip and add Havarti cheese on top. Cook for an additional 3-5 minutes until fully cooked.
- Assemble by spreading garlic mayo (light mayo mixed with Dijon mustard and minced garlic) on toasted brioche buns. Layer with lettuce, tomato slices, cheesy patties, and drizzle with balsamic glaze.
Notes
- Ensure not to overmix the meat to keep the patties tender.
- Adjust the amount of pesto according to your taste preference.
