Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a loaf pan thoroughly.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Whisk until well blended.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the milk, vegetable oil, egg, and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Gradually add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and stir gently until just combined.
- Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Allow the loaf to cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
- In a small bowl, whisk together the powdered sugar and a dash of cinnamon until smooth, adjusting consistency with a little milk if necessary.
- Drizzle the glaze over the cooled loaf and let set before slicing and serving.
