Description

Cinnamon Roll Breakfast Skewers are a fun and delicious morning treat, combining the sweet flavor of cinnamon rolls with fresh fruits.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 package Cinnamon Rolls (Use your favorite refrigerated brand)
  • 1 cup Fresh Strawberries (Can substitute with any berry or stone fruit like peaches)
  • 1 cup Fresh Blueberries (Raspberries can be used for a tart twist)
  • 1 Banana (Try other fruits like kiwi or mango for variety)
  • 2 tablespoons Melted Butter (Olive oil can be used for a dairy-free option)
  • 1 teaspoon Ground Cinnamon (Consider using pumpkin spice for a seasonal twist)
  • Maple Syrup (optional to taste, honey is a great alternative for glaze)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Prepare the cinnamon rolls: Open the package, unroll each piece, and cut the rolls into thirds.
  3. Assemble the skewers by alternating pieces of cinnamon roll with fresh strawberries, bananas, and blueberries.
  4. Mix melted butter and ground cinnamon in a small bowl. Brush this mixture over the skewers.
  5. Arrange the skewers on the prepared baking sheet, leaving space between each for even baking.
  6. Bake for about 12-15 minutes, or until golden brown.
  7. Drizzle with icing from the cinnamon roll package and optionally serve with maple syrup.

Notes

  • Feel free to experiment with different fruits for more variety.
  • For a gluten-free option, ensure the cinnamon rolls are certified gluten-free.
