Ingredients
Scale
- 8 slices bacon, diced
- ½ pound breakfast sausage
- 12 Hawaiian rolls
- 8 eggs
- ¼ cup heavy cream or milk
- ½ teaspoon salt
- 6–8 slices American cheese
- 3 tablespoons butter, divided
- ½ tablespoon maple syrup
- Everything bagel seasoning, optional
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F.
- In a 12-inch skillet, cook diced bacon until crispy, then remove and drain on a paper towel-lined plate.
- Add breakfast sausage to the skillet, cook until browned and fully cooked, and transfer to the plate with bacon.
- In a medium bowl, whisk eggs, heavy cream, and salt until combined. Melt 1 tablespoon butter in a skillet over medium-high heat, pour in the egg mixture, and stir gently with a spatula until scrambled and fully cooked. Remove from heat.
- Slice the Hawaiian rolls in half horizontally and place the bottom halves on a baking sheet. Layer with scrambled eggs, followed by sausage, bacon, and cheese slices. Place the top halves of the rolls on top.
- Melt 2 tablespoons butter in a small bowl, mix with maple syrup, and brush evenly over the top of the rolls. Optionally, sprinkle with Everything Bagel Seasoning.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 15 minutes or until the cheese has melted. Cover with aluminum foil if the buns begin to brown excessively.
