- 45 milliliters olive oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 30 milliliters freshly squeezed lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon lemon zest
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon paprika
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
- Lemon slices
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 200°C and lightly grease a baking dish.
- Pat cod fillets dry with paper towels and arrange them in the baking dish.
- Combine olive oil, minced garlic, lemon juice, lemon zest, salt, black pepper, and paprika in a small bowl. Pour the mixture evenly over the cod fillets, ensuring thorough coating.
- Bake the fillets for 12 to 15 minutes or until fully opaque and flakes easily with a fork. Adjust cooking time based on fillet thickness.
- Remove from oven, sprinkle with chopped fresh parsley, and serve immediately garnished with lemon slices.

- For a crispy top, consider broiling the cod for the last 1-2 minutes of cooking.
